Skin Care Tips & Tricks

Use cleanser, toner, serums and moisturizers formulated for your skin type and condition.
Cleanse, treat & protect skin daily, morning and evening.

How to Wash Your Face

  • Wash hands prior to touching your face so as not to transfer bacteria onto skin

  • Use warm water, not hot, to open pores and soften skin cells

  • Apply quarter sized amount of cleanser to face, neck & chest, gently massage into skin in upwards motion

  • Apply exfoliant and gently massage skin in circular and upwards motion

  • Use exfoliant 2–4 times per week or as instructed by your Esthetician

  • Rinse skin with cool water and dampened sponges or cloth

  • Be sure skin is thoroughly rinsed and pat dry

  • Splash quarter size amount of toner into palm and smooth over face, neck & chest

  • If using a spray toner, spritz entire face until evenly coated, but not dripping

  • Dispense 1–2 pumps of correcting serum(s) onto fingertips and smooth over face, neck & chest

  • Apply 1–2 dime sized amounts of appropriate SPF to face, neck & chest in the morning

  • Apply nickel sized amount of nourishing moisturizer to face, neck & chest in the evening

Tips for Keeping Skin Clean and Healthy

  • Resist the urge to touch your face. Do NOT pick blemishes, scabs or peeling skin

  • Stick to your skincare routine. Be extra thorough in p.m. as skin regenerates and heals at this time

  • ALWAYS use SPF! Even on cloudy days…even in the Winter!

  • Never go to bed with makeup on

  • Wash pillowcases, sheets, makeup brushes and sponges at least weekly

  • Keep cell phone screen clean and sanitized

  • Help avoid breakouts by cutting down on dairy, sugar, greasy & processed foods & take a daily probiotic

  • Drink plenty of water and eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies, especially greens

  • Avoid rosacea flare-ups by keeping skin hydrated, reducing consumption of alcohol and spicy foods

  • See a licensed esthetician every 4–6 weeks to ensure your skin is being treated regularly, your routine is up to date according to its current condition and to purchase esthetician-suggested professional products that are not sold over the counter

  • NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use tanning beds!

Important Information Regarding SPF

  • Always use a full-spectrum sunblock; this protects skin from harmful UVA/UVB rays

  • Only use products that contain Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide or both

  • Apply SPF liberally, 15–30 mins prior to sun exposure and REAPPLY throughout the day

Following these steps will help to ensure healthier, more radiant and younger looking skin
in as little as 4 weeks!
