Skin Care Tips & Tricks
Use cleanser, toner, serums and moisturizers formulated for your skin type and condition.
Cleanse, treat & protect skin daily, morning and evening.
How to Wash Your Face
Wash hands prior to touching your face so as not to transfer bacteria onto skin
Use warm water, not hot, to open pores and soften skin cells
Apply quarter sized amount of cleanser to face, neck & chest, gently massage into skin in upwards motion
Apply exfoliant and gently massage skin in circular and upwards motion
Use exfoliant 2–4 times per week or as instructed by your Esthetician
Rinse skin with cool water and dampened sponges or cloth
Be sure skin is thoroughly rinsed and pat dry
Splash quarter size amount of toner into palm and smooth over face, neck & chest
If using a spray toner, spritz entire face until evenly coated, but not dripping
Dispense 1–2 pumps of correcting serum(s) onto fingertips and smooth over face, neck & chest
Apply 1–2 dime sized amounts of appropriate SPF to face, neck & chest in the morning
Apply nickel sized amount of nourishing moisturizer to face, neck & chest in the evening
Tips for Keeping Skin Clean and Healthy
Resist the urge to touch your face. Do NOT pick blemishes, scabs or peeling skin
Stick to your skincare routine. Be extra thorough in p.m. as skin regenerates and heals at this time
ALWAYS use SPF! Even on cloudy days…even in the Winter!
Never go to bed with makeup on
Wash pillowcases, sheets, makeup brushes and sponges at least weekly
Keep cell phone screen clean and sanitized
Help avoid breakouts by cutting down on dairy, sugar, greasy & processed foods & take a daily probiotic
Drink plenty of water and eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies, especially greens
Avoid rosacea flare-ups by keeping skin hydrated, reducing consumption of alcohol and spicy foods
See a licensed esthetician every 4–6 weeks to ensure your skin is being treated regularly, your routine is up to date according to its current condition and to purchase esthetician-suggested professional products that are not sold over the counter
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use tanning beds!
Important Information Regarding SPF
Always use a full-spectrum sunblock; this protects skin from harmful UVA/UVB rays
Only use products that contain Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide or both
Apply SPF liberally, 15–30 mins prior to sun exposure and REAPPLY throughout the day
